In Jr/Sr Hi Mr Olczak, hands down. Kindergarten: Mrs Rader was a saint, and Miss Donna Dise saved me from jumping-out-the-window when I saw my 5th grade picture! I was in tears, I had cut my bangs and they looked like they'd been chewed off by gremlins! I had no idea it was so obvious......

What’s your favorite memory of ACHS?

Wearing seamed stockings and my father's old Navy top to school in Jr Hi. Since that's about my favorite, it's pretty clear I didn't like school! Actually I hated school, and did a silent rebellion, which amounted to ignoring homework and refusing to participate in class.

Least favorite memory

Wearing a lift on my left shoe (due to bad medical advice) and hearing click, thump, click, thump as I walked through the halls, and the comments like..."hey, aren't you tall enough?" I'm 6'3" and was then too.... (Except then I weighed about 98 lbs...)

What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?

Peace corps or get married, I really had no clue!

ALL the time, wrote my own "excuses" too. I probably have the all time record for missed days of school!

Biggest thing you would do differently if you went back to your time at ACHS?

Get over being so self-conscious and get more involved with activities.

Pretty much WNY all my life. Now have a 2nd home in GA
