I remember Cliff mostly from a senior year camping trip. A bunch of us went camping at Allegheny State Park "unchaperoned" (i.e., we were under 21) -- and because of this, were kicked out by the park ranger at some ungodly hour like 1 a.m. Cliff, Jeff Hutten (my semi-boyfriend) and I drove off to who-remembers-where in my '62 Chevy Impala convertible. It was a totally crazy, but "innocent" adventure -- at least for me. Others, not so much... Cliff was a sweet guy.
I remember Cliff as a All American Kid, who happened to be a great friend of mine. We could always get together for a group of neighborhood kids and a driveway hockey game or two. We also played in the Amherst Hockey League, Amherst High School Hockey Team and The All star Teams from Amherst in State Tournaments ( 1965 up to 1969).
Clifford was always a caring individual with a wonderful personality and a fun and crazy sense of humor.
Thanks Cliff for all the GOOD TIMES, you are not forgotten!, mark piret
