I awoke to this sad news this morning.Sue was always a leader when we served together on the varsity cheerleading squad. Happy, silly memories of cheerleading camp! Supportive as ever, she will be remembered as a champion. My heartfelt condolences.

I am also saddened by Sue's passing.  My memories of her was that she was always so pleasant a person back during the high school days.

As website maven, it is my sad and difficult duty to report the deaths of our classmates. The last message for me on this site was from Sue last March, wishing me a happy birthday. Unreal. Among other memories of Sue, I think of gym class, where we lined up alphabetically, D-E. She was on one side of me and Gail Engasser on the other. I never tried to keep up with either of them! Sue and I caught up via phone prior to our 40th reunion in 2010, and then in person. She was a warm and caring person and will be greatly missed.

I was very sad to learn of Sue's passing...I will always remember her as a kind and cheerful girl.  She was one of the super Amherst Cheerleaders!!!  Rest in peace, Susan, and my condolences to your family.

I can't believe Sue is gone. My memory of her was of a graceful kind soul. Very supportive and a leader. I have lost contact with many of my high school friends and news such as this is a wake up call. So I'm sending out my love to all of my past friends. Please stay well.

I agree with Nancy's comment regarding not keeping in touch with classmates. I am so thankful that we have this website to keep in touch. R. I. P. Susan until we meet again.

I was saddened to hear of the death of Sue.  We were friends since grade school at Eggert Road.  She and her family were the nicest people.  As I sit and write this, I can picture her from all the years I knew her.  She was a joy to be with. For those of us who knew her, we were blessed.  To her family - please accept my deepest sympathy.
